About
Hideo Arakawa from its earliest draft being a tool for latching onto electric cables. This “Hand Puller” mechanism from 1975 was what would eventually lead to the creation of the gripper mechanism found in much of the Arakawa & Co., Ltd product lineup today. The debut of the wire gripper they all know and love today was at JAPAN SHOP in 1980. From there, they have continued to grow and assist in hanging solutions for commercial, residential, art museums and galleries with their lineup of wire hanging tools. Committing to maintaining high manufacturing standards, Arakawa’s products have been domestically manufactured in their Tokorozawa factory in Japan.
