Sarah Jansala, the founder of Kati Portland Thai, grew up around great Thai food. Her mother was a Thai chef in Oklahoma City and upon moving to the Portland/Beaverton area quickly realized the insufficient options that existed in the market. As a local, woman-owned restaurant, they have always given their heart to their customers. Some neighbors might wonder if there’s a new owner — but no! Kati Portland has been under the same ownership and management since 2016.
