They grew new roots in NW Portland's Slabtown neighborhood in 2019 when they opened the doors to their second brick & mortar. Their mission continues to be guided by their belief that there is a plant for every person . Owner Mégan Twilegar had the dream of bringing a slice of nature into the city. Inspired by the shoe-box structures and false fronts of the West, she and her sister built a tiny storefront in an empty lot on Mississippi Avenue in 2001.
