As affordable fast-food fever swept the nation, Del and Helen Johnson of Culver City, CA asked themselves, “why does a nice juicy steak have to break the bank?” They opened the first Sizzler Family Steak House, great for special occasions and any occasion with the best parts of the steak house served up casual-dining style. Sizzle is the magic that you get when they take the time to invest in the little things. And that’s still what they do today, from the perfect sear on their hand-cut steaks to the crispy parmesan smothered cheese toast with every meal.
