About
After meeting at a coffee shop and leaving behind their corporate 9–5s (which included years of award-winning customer service at Nordstrom), they set out to create the healing, welcoming tattoo space they always dreamed of, rooted in compassion, creativity, and care. They unfortunately witnessed firsthand how much racism, gatekeeping, and harm exist in the tattoo industry, especially toward queer folks and people of color. Plush was born from the question: Would their queer sisters feel safe getting tattooed here? Their roots are in Hawaiʻi and deeply influenced by the hospitality, stewardship, and artistry of their island upbringings.
